The awe-inspiring ability of our intricate physiology (body consciousness) to maintain homeostasis and adapt to a changing environment can be seen as a reflection of how we as individuals adapt to our psycho-social and planetary environment. Recent evidence shows that our thoughts and emotions can lead to changes in epigenetic inheritance which pass directly to the next generation
and potentially result in a rapid shift in consciousness. From the patterning of photons and water molecules within and around our cells to the complexities of our metabolome, microbiome and neuro-immuno-endocrine systems, our human planet within shows levels of consciousness which appear to parallel and interrelate with those of the planet around us and ultimately those of the universe. Health and disease (dys-ease) are often looked at in physical terms. From a metaphysical perspective they may be related to the degree of alignment and flow of consciousness between our higher self and our personality (body, emotions and mind). However, at the level of subatomic physics, the concept of consciousness as a connecting field of information is now being explored in the new fields of quantum biology and the quantum hologram. These dimensions of understanding can be used to look at the planet within from different viewpoints as we consider their correspondences in terms of “as above, so below”.
