Anton Malyguine is born in Leningrad in 1966. He graduated in geography in the University of Leningrad in 1988. In the past 30 years, he has studied the life and work of Nikolaj and Elena Roerich, going to the source in public and private archives, in particular the Roerich Museum of New York, the Amherst College Archive (USA), Naggar, Kalimpong and Bangalore in India. He cooperates with the State Museum of Oriental Art of Moscow in the project of publishing all the diaries of Elena Roerich. At present, the first six volumes have been published, which cover the period from 1920 to 1931.
His wife and close coworker, Claudia Brioschi, graduated in the University of Bergamo with a thesis on the painting and literary work of Nikolaj Roerich. Both Anton and Claudia have been members of the editorial board of the International Journal Vestnik Ariavarty (2001-2008), published by the Roerich Museum and the Museum of Oriental Art.
Anton Malyguine is the author and curator of several books, published in Russia (the first Russian edition of Santi e briganti del Tibet ignoto by Giuseppe Tucci, Aletheia) and in Italy with the publishing House Nuova Era: Lettere dall’India 1920-1955, by Elena Roerich; Criptogrammi dell’Oriente, the eighteen book of Agni Yoga series; La fenice russa, la vita e l’opera di Elena Roerich, vol.1.
Anton Malyguine lives and works in Lugano, Switzerland.
