One of the most potent thoughtforms New Leadership awakens in us is the sacred and powerful mystery of the feminine principle, an essential value waiting to be enlivened in all of us.
To this day, feminine qualities are misunderstood as gender-related, weak and inferior. Our current separative mentality has engendered competition, dissonance, inequality and unresolved polarisation between masculine and feminine energies. This has perpetuated a power imbalance and a divisive either/or mindset.
Clearly a newly in-formed leadership approach is needed. One that leaves controlling ego-centric ways behind and includes feminine qualities to help grow an egalitarian, synthetic model, in service to the economy of the One Life.
What if, as New Leaders, we were:
- …to re-imagine the feminine as a source of strength, creative intelligence, nurturance, and regeneration? As complementary to the masculine, not its adversary?
- …to lay a foundation of “right relationship” with which to engage with the world?
- …to connect to soul identity and orient our attention to our inner leader?
Lucille Cedercrans proposes the notion of “cooperative leadership” in response to the challenges of our times. By bringing heart, head and throat centres into activity and blending the energies of divine love-wisdom and purpose, we have an opportunity to more fully integrate our vertical and horizontal alignment and cultivate an holistic, circular model of leadership. When we activate our feminine intelligence, we catalyze a magnetic field of inner wisdom whose nature reflects flow, spaciousness, and interconnectedness and helps to inform and synchronize our outer actions.
Learning to harmonize these energies into a resonant soul frequency, lies at the very core of this radical leadership shift.
Orienting to “and/with” thinking, where the feminine and masculine exist in a co-equal relationship, offers us a powerful alternative in which an inspired and synthetic vision of human betterment opens us to the infinite potentialities alive in both capacities. When we align with the energy of Love and couple it with Divine Will, compassion, inclusion, mutuality and a spirit of cooperation are jointly animated and vitalized. In more poetic terms, Agni Yoga refers to this as the sacred union of our dual origins, of our inseparable unity.
As we find the “coeur-age” to reclaim our feminine nature, we can more easily align to the divine in others, attune to a shared common future and manifest a coherent space of inter-relatedness and equality. This can only occur when we live in co-measurement with both sides of ourselves and embrace the dynamics of group consciousness.
Just as the Yin and Yang symbol evokes wholeness and equilibrium in polarities, so does the feminine principle attract and enhance correspondences and complementarities in seemingly opposite forces. One cannot live without the other.
The urgency in embodying and activating our Feminine Intelligence and a recognition of what is at stake if we don’t, is creating the needed tension from which a responsive and comprehensive leadership culture can begin to flourish.
The untapped potential in reconnecting our inner with our outer leader is in achieving harmony not only within ourselves but with all that exists around us. By awakening to the power of this shared and distributed model, we can exponentially affect positive change by transforming current thought patterns and elevating humanity to a new level of consciousness.
This is the inherent freedom that exists at the very heart of an emerging cooperative New Era Leadership.
