The Community has created an International Agni Yoga Conference with the intent both to gather representatives of various groups and associations in a spirit of mutual recognition, and to offer an opportunity for contact and experience of Agni Yoga to those who feel attracted to it in this moment of planetary life.
The Community and Agni Yoga
The Community of Living Ethics bases its activity as a center for the evolution of human consciousness on the knowledge and application of the Teaching of Agni Yoga. With will and dedication we continually try to transform the inspirations and ideas that derive from higher models of life into projects and initiatives which imitate these higher models and make them concrete in the fields of human activity.
In the Community there is a School of Agni Yoga, under the management of the Italian Society of Agni Yoga (SIAY), regulated by rhythms and modalities of participation in continuous improvement. Here, members of the Community carry out a multi-year course of approach, assimilation and deepening in group of teaching Agni Yoga, through reading, connecting this with emerging life themes, enhancement learning and the ability to apply to everyday life.
The Community has been open over many years to international contacts with many similar organizations and groups, to participate in the creation of a common network of intentions and initiatives in service of human evolution and planetary life. Very significant contacts have taken place with those who supported the protection and dissemination of the Teaching of Agni Yoga in various countries of the world.
Through a group of members, and in harmony with similar associations, the Community has participated, since 2002, in the purchase and enhancement of the site called Crookety House in Kalimpong in India. Here, Helena Roerich lived for the last years of her earthly life with the intention of preserving this place of high spiritual value and making it accessible to all those in the world who recognize themselves in the values of Agni Yoga.
The Agni Yoga Conference: theme, objective and modality
The Community has therefore created this International Agni Yoga Conference with the intent both to gather representatives of various groups and associations in a spirit of mutual recognition, and to offer an opportunity for contact and experience of Agni Yoga to those who feel attracted to it in this moment of planetary life.
Among the many themes of Agni Yoga, we have been guided toward the theme of the development of a cosmic consciousness, which enables us to bring together the human impulse to grow, with the vision and research of the evolutionary message coming from the Universe and from its great laws. Agni Yoga represents an extraordinary means of approaching this attempt to unify earth and sky, humanity and the cosmos, to create a bridge of thought and inspiration for human consciousness.
The aim of this conference will be to encourage the creation of a new era of Agni Yoga, where it is possible to record and express a new impulse to its manifestation and its function as a possible aid to human evolution. We will try to create a bridge between the spiritual heritage of the Roerichs and the special value of this new impulse.
We will take care to create an active space for sharing between people and groups from different traditions, cultures, nations and fields of service. It will be possible to perceive the living reality of a “one work” that transcends all diversities, life choices and social commitments.
The consciousness of the participants will be pushed to “raise their eyes to Heaven” and to re-orient their existence as “citizens of the Universe” and active collaborators of evolution.
