On our planet there is an invisible network of groups of men and women of good will who have taken on the task of co-workers with the Spiritual Hierarchy as servers of the World. These groups are defined organizations, with specific names and objectives, or (in some cases) they do not have an official form, since they are preferentially dedicated to subjective work. Among all these groups, which are probably numerous, there are different degrees of contact, sometimes regular, sometimes sporadic. If the network exists on a subtle level, however, it cannot be said that it is visibly recognizable. This depends on different reasons: differences in language, communication, objectives. This last aspect, the difference in objectives, is what I would particularly like to focus on, because it touches on the theme of leadership.

In the book “Leadership Training” by Lucille Cedercrans, the Master who inspired her, speaking to the aspiring disciples of Lucille’s group, states that they must overcome an obstacle that constitutes an important step on the path of collaborative Leadership. This step is the ability to imitate the Spiritual Hierarchy, where collaborative leadership is fully realized, because each of its members considers himself a leader in a specific field and at the same time respects and considers the leadership of others without reservation. In Lucille’s group this perspective has aroused what the Master calls a “deliberate confusion“, that is, a psychic state generated by the fear that the requested change may bring unpredictable imbalances within the group. It is therefore a psychic reaction in which mental confusion represents an impediment to the achievement of the highest evolutionary step.

What the Master says about Lucille’s group has stimulated a personal reflection. In my experience, there is an analogy between what occurs in a group of “would-be disciples”, and what occurs between the groups that, on the subtle plane, constitute the Web of Light of the World Servers. In this scenario, the step to be taken is collaborative leadership between groups. Each group has developed and taken charge of a specific objective, which rightly represents the task assumed by its work. This leads to considering one’s own goal as a priority and differentiating oneself, compared to the objectives of the other groups with which one comes into contact.

Also in this case there is “deliberate confusion”, caused by mutual criticism of individual objectives and by the fear that a hierarchy will be established between the groups, which will reduce the power of each group. The underlying fear is that some groups will assume a dominant position in relation to the others, out of authority and desire for control. As a consequece of the above fears, the Web of Light does not bring about the most effective organization among its members, and does not move from the subtle plane to a concrete action on a planetary level, acquiring greater spiritual power.
